BEHIND THE RUNWAY

Huge post to prove that not everything is fashion! Laughs, drinks (that G'Vine cocktails were too good, believe me!), jokes, poses, coffees, heels, people one could never expected to see at a Kissing Room, no Wi-Fi connection [the organization should check that! (just saying)] and the stress this provokes, finding people you only see on their blogs (hey Charlie, so nice to meet you, you were really kind!)...But above all, lots of laughs. Great time as every time we spend together.

Hoy toca una entrada enorme para enseñaros que no todo es moda! Risas, copas (creedme, esos G'Vine estaban demasiado buenos!), bromas, tacones, gente que una nunca espera encontrar en un Kissing Room, 0 conexión Wi-Fi (la organización debería checkear ésto, creo yo) y el estrés que eso conlleva, encontrar a gente a la que sueles ver en sus blogs (Charlie, fue genial conocerte, eres un sol!)...Pero sobre todo, muchas, muchas risas. Unos días muy divertidos, como cada vez que nos juntamos.

So, imagine these models, these designs and this music. When the first model put her feet on the runway the adrenaline starts raising. Great atmosphere. Strong structures and textures. Volumes and extreme lengths. Cold colours and a touch of leather (my favorite design, the one from the first pic).

Imaginad a éstas modelos, éstos diseños y ésta música. Cuando la primera modelo pisa la pasarela la adrenalina empieza a subir. La atmósfera es increíble. La colección, llena de patrones estructurados y mucha textura. Volúmenes y larguras extremas. Colores fríos y un toque de cuero (mi diseño favorito, el de la primera foto).

MBFW MADRID | AILANTO

Here is the second fashion show I saw, Ailanto. Inspired on Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanical Art from London. The volume in different kinds of coats and jackets is the main character of the collection. Sporty dresses and playsuits, midi skirts in neoprene and wool and mohair ovesized cardigans and sweaters compose their work for autumn winter '14 '15.

Aquí está el segundo desfile que ví, Ailanto. Inspirado en la galería de arte botánico Shirley Sherwood de Londres. El volumen en abrigos y chaquetas es el principal protagonista de la colección. Vestidos con toques deportivos y monos, faldas midi en neopreno y lana y jerseys y cárdigans de mohair completan su trabajo para el próxomo otoño invierno '14 '15. 

MBFW MADRID - JUANA MARTIN

As I told you before last weekend I could enjoy some fashion shows at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid. Here is one of them, N.E.O. by Juana Martín. Clean and simple shapes, black and white as the main colours of the collection and perfectly placed transparencies. You might know I love this type of pattering so being there and contemplating the show so near  was an amazing experience for me. As was not sat on a good place to make proper photos so I've had to pic them from a fashion website.

Tomorrow I'll show you more about the MBFWM.

Como ya os dije el otro día, el pasado fin de semana pude disfrutar de algunos desfiles en la Mercedes Benz Fahion Week Madrid. Aquí os traigo el primero, N.E.O. de Juana Martín. Formas sencillas y limpias, el blanco y negro como colores principales de la colección y transparencias perfectamente localizadas. Puede que ya sepáis que me encanta éste tipo de patronaje así que poder estar allí y contemplar el desfile tan de cerca fue toda una experiencia para mí. Como no estaba sentada en un sitio adecuado para hacer fotos he tenido que cogerlas de una web de moda.

Mañana os enseño mas sobre la MBFW.
