Hey! I'm here again because I wanted to share some skincare finds I have recently done. You may already know about my rosacea affected skin. I suffer from redness on my cheeks and persistent spots. I try to live a healthy life, taking special care with what I eat and avoiding some potential triggers such as spiced food or alcohol, but even doing this, other factors can aggravate the problem, like stress or hormonal issues.
As a beauty and skin lover I'm always searching for products to help me minimize the rosacea effects and then is when I found this Honevo formulation wich is basically made of kanuka honey. HoneLab has found that kanuka honey has a very high antibacterial activity compared to other honeys. Also it has anti-inflammatory activity whereas manuka and others not. So how to use it? It must be applied as a mask over the affected area for at least 15 minutes twice a day, but the longer it is applied the better results are likely to be.
I have been testing it for about some weeks now and it really calms the redness and it also works as a deep moisturizer. Whenever I can, I like to leave it on the skin for at least one hour and the results are great, I feel the skin less stressed and the red areas visibly cool down.

Hola! De nuevo por aquí para contaros mi experiencia con un descubrimiento que hice hace poco. Como supongo ya sabréis, sufro rosácea cuyos síntomas son enrojecimiento de mejillas y brotes de un tipo de acné persistente y muy molesto. Intento llevar una vida lo mas sana posible, evitando posibles desencadenasteis como el alcohol o las comidas picantes o muy espaciadas pero hay otros factores que también pueden provocar un brote, como el estrés o problemas hormonales.
Como siempre ando buscando posibles nuevas soluciones o tratamientos un día descubrí Honevo, una marca neozelandesa que había creado una fórmula a base de miel de kanuka. Ésta miel proviene de un arbusto que sólo se da en Nueva Zelanda y han descubierto que tiene propiedades altamente antibacterianas y antiinflamatorias.
Yo ya conocía la efectividad de la miel de manuka, así que no tardé en probar éste tratamiento.
El producto se aplica sobre la zona afectada dos veces al día y se deja actuar durante al menos 15 minutos, pudiéndose dejar hasta varias horas.
Mi experiencia está siendo bastante positiva, aunque estoy atravesando uno de los peores brotes de mi vida, noto que tras la aplicación la piel está visiblemente calmada además de muy hidratada.
Siempre que tengo tiempo me gusta dejarlo actuar mas de una hora para aumentar su efectividad.
